I had a wonderful experience with Luis Barbose and the entire Barbosa Plumbing & Sewer team of workmen. What I most appreciated was Luis Barbose's willingness to answer all of my questions. He not only answered my questions, he answered my questions in writing. This said to me, that he was confident in his work, and that he stood by his word. My Dad had used Barbosa plumbing and had great things to say, so I decided to contact them after purchasing an old home that needed it's plumbing completely redone. Another bid I received seemed ridiculous, so I also figured it would be good to get another. Luis was able to visit 2 days after I called to examine the house, and took the time to explain every recommendation, and qualified every additional thing he thought I should do without any pressure for them. All his reasons made a lot of sense so I agreed to them. I had the full bid 2 days after the visit, and it was for less than the first one I received and it covered more. Work started 3 days later on a Thursday, and the estimated time for completion was 3-4 days depending on when the city could do inspections. Luis was very responsive to all questions during this process, and his team was able to complete the majority of the work in 2 days, including a couple of smaller additions like installing a Moen leak detector and a reverse osmosis system. The inspectors came on day 3, and all work was completed then. From the time I called to completion, it only took 9 days, which includes a weekend of no work/communication. I can't recommend Barbosa Plumbing enough, and know who I will contact for any future plumbing work going forward.

Our mainline backed up and we needed hydro-jet service to clear out years of root growth. I got a $950 quote from a major plumbing firm that I won't mention by name. I went onto Yelp and Barbosa Plumbing responded quickly with a $350 bid. Based on their Yelp reviews I took a leap of faith and hired them. They communicated with me on the day of service and arrived on schedule. It was a 2 man crew that did a great job, very professional. I watched the whole thing go down on their video monitor and got a copy of it to show the wife. I'm going to tell her it was my colonoscopy. I could not be happier with the service and outcome. Fantastic experience! They arrived early on a Sunday and used their camera to find the blockage in my main sewer line. I watched on the video as they hydrojetted it and pushed the roots out. They also pointed out cracks in the line in another spot under street and suggested I have the city fix it before it collapses.
